Returns and Refunds

At Perfume Market, we want you to shop with confidence. If you wish to return an item, please review the conditions below carefully before submitting a return request.
1. Return Period
You have the right to request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@perfumemarket.nl before sending any items back.
Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a refund, returned products must meet all of the following conditions:
- The return request is submitted within 14 days of delivery.
- The product is unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging.
- The product is returned in its original condition, suitable for resale.
- All original packaging, labels, and accessories are included.
For hygiene and product safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns of products that have been opened, tested, unsealed, or used, even once.
3. Perfumes and Cosmetic Products
Due to the hygienic nature of perfumes and cosmetic products, the right of return does not apply once the protective seal has been broken or the product has been opened.
This policy helps ensure product integrity, quality, and safety for all customers.
We therefore cannot accept returns of:
- Opened fragrances
- Tested fragrances
- Used cosmetic products
- Products with broken or removed seals
4. Sets, Bundles and Multi-Item Orders
If products were purchased as part of a gift set, bundle, promotional package, or multi-item offer, all items must be returned together in their original condition to qualify for a refund.
Partial returns of bundled products may not be eligible for a refund.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is the result of an error on our part or a confirmed defective product, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items arrive safely at our return address.
If applicable, a DPD courier pickup can be arranged.
Please note: if a courier collection is used for a change-of-mind return, the collection fee will be deducted from your refund.
Perfume Market cannot be held responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.
6. Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Products
We carefully inspect all orders before dispatch. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product
- Clear photographs of the packaging, where applicable
Each case is reviewed individually, and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.
7. If Your Parcel Arrives Damaged
If you notice visible damage to your parcel at the time of delivery:
- Please take clear photographs of the damaged parcel.
- Where possible, refuse delivery and inform the courier of the damage.
If the parcel has already been accepted:
- Contact us immediately at info@perfumemarket.nl
- Provide clear photographs of the parcel and its contents
- Include your order number
Prompt reporting allows us to investigate the issue with the carrier and assist you as quickly as possible.
8. Refund Processing
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Refunds are processed within 14 days, and you will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
